DataStar Marine Products Inc. was started in 1996 and incorporated early in 1997. Our core product, the V-MAC Reliant, was developed over 10 years ago and has a broad and growing install base with an excellent track record.

DataStar designs, develops, manufactures and markets electronic products for Marine and Sub Sea; Residential; Automotive; Industrial and Commercial industries. Specifically, DataStar's expertise is in the area of loss prevention, damage control, system monitoring and data logging as they apply to commercial, military, passenger and pleasure craft; Residential (Home Automation); Industrial (Factory Floor) and Commercial applications.

Our primary products are the standalone V-MAC Reliant and the graphical Visual V-MAC,  providing an integrated approach to the vital task of Vessel Monitoring; Home Automation; Industrial and Building Automation; Automotive Alarms; Systems Control. These products provide alarms for Fire, Flood, dangerous Fumes, Security/Intrusion, Navigation light failure (Marine), and other General Trouble, as well as supervise mechanical and electronic Engines and Generators (Marine, Industrial and Automotive), Tanks, Pumps and Electric Motors, AC & DC Power, and most other operating systems, providing warnings and alarms as necessary. Modular and totally "User" programmable, the V-MACs may be configured to any application's needs, and may be easily expanded later when desired. It is by far the most powerful and cost-effective monitoring, alarm and control system in the world today. That's a big claim, and DataStar stands by it!
